    WandaVision Bumped to 2020

Disney+ hailed the New Year by releasing a video announcing all the stuff coming to this streaming service in 2020. SlashFilm noticed that the video included snippets from the TV series WandaVision. Marvel Studios first announced this limited run superhero TV series in April 2019, along with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki and Marvel’s What If…? However, WandaVision was initially slated for a 2021 release.

So far, Marvel and Disney have been very careful while talking about this new show. What we do know is that WandaVision will be heavily inspired by American sitcoms from different decades. The show will explore the relationship between Scarlett Witch and Vision – even though this superhero was killed during the events of Avengers: Infinity War. On top of that, WandaVision will set up the events of Scott Derrickson’s upcoming film Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will reprise their performances from the movies alongside Kat Dennings and Randall Park. Teyonah Parris (Dear White People) will play an adult version of Monica Rambeau – a character first introduced in Captain Marvel. Kathryn Hahn (Bad Moms) will also appear on the show. Jac Schaeffer (Captain Marvel) will serve as showrunner with Matt Shakman (Game of Thrones, Fargo) as director.
