M. Night Shyamalan (The Village (2004), Split (2016)) and Tony Basgallop, a British TV writer known for series like Hotel Babylon and 24 have made a deal with Tech Giant Apple to produce a new TV series. The series, that is yet untitled, will be a 10 episode psychological thriller, each episode a half-hour. Basgallop will write the series, Shyamalan will direct the first episode, both will executive produce.

Who cares. I’m not buying another scripting service and this sure as hell isn’t doing anything to change my mind. All I know is Shymalamadingdong better not a screw up that Glass movie of his name will be mud.  I watched the first season of Wayward Pines and was bored out of my mind so I’m giving this news the side-eye. A half-hour pyschological thriller…what is that, three’s company on acid? Pass.
