Directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, (2008)) with a screenplay written Jeff Nathanson, The Lion King is a CGI remake of the Disney 1994 animated film. The story features the adventures of a young lion Simba a seeks to regain his position as King of the Pride Lands after his father, Mufasa, is murdered by his brother, Scar.

Looks pretty, but I don’t really see what can be gained by this film…aside from the millions of dollars people are going to fork over to see it.
