Directed by Michael Chaves and written by Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis (Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia), The Curse of La Llorona tells the story of Anna Garcia, a social worker, who, while investigating a disturbing case, discovers that an evil force La Llorona has latched itself onto her and is trying to take her children.
The film is produced by James Wan (The Conjuring, Aquaman).

Toruk's TakeOf course, if you really examine the actions of a lot of these entities, the things they do...are really, really silly. Maybe that could be a new series...'Ghosts do silly things'. But God help me I'm a horror whore and still love them. This one...I think can sit on the back burner.
The Curse of La Llorona starring Linda Cardellini, Raymond Cruz, Patricia Velásquez, Marisol Ramirez, Sean Patrick Thomas and Tony Amendola is scheduled for release April 19, 2019.
