Well that was fast.
According to Deadline the DC Universe’s new horror/superhero series Swamp Thing produced by James Wan’s Atomic Monster has been cancelled after just one season. Not even a week after the series began.
Apparently this largely has to do with AT&T’s acquisition of Time Warner. It would seem one of the incoming bigwigs is not a fan of Swamp Thing. Would be curious to find out just what it is that this person or persons don’t like about the big green and oozing guy.
Only one episode has aired so far but they will continue to roll them out until it wraps up Aug 2nd.
