Deadline reports that the CW has released a first look photo of Ruby Rose as Batwoman (Kate Kane). In the costume designed by Colleen Atwood, Rose
is sporting a head of red hair along with the iconic cowl and cape.
Early on after the announcement of her casting, Rose received backlash from the LGBT community for essentially not being “Gay” enough for the role. Rose responded to the accusation via
social media posting:
“Where on earth did ‘Ruby is not a lesbian therefore she can’t be batwoman’ come from — has to be the funniest most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read.
I came out at 12? And have for the past 5 years had to deal with ‘she’s too gay’ how do y’all flip it like that? I didn’t change. I wish we would all support
each other and our journeys.”
The annual CW Arrowverse crossover starts October 29th.
With all the noise being made about the sexual orientation of this character I wonder how they are going to handle it. Will they be smart and just focus on the stuff that matters (her mission and fighting prowess) or Because they’re degenerates like that.Toruk's Take
could actually sit through Arrow and The Flash, now … I’m afraid to look. I wish there was a website that gave these shows propaganda ratings…:/) but one of the many
things I liked about them rather than the Marvel Netflix shows was their willingness to go full Superhero. Wacky outfits, powers, the whole shebang. While the Netflix shows characters were
looking over their shoulders to make sure no one was looking before they used their ‘power’ circa 1977 style, the CW shows were having cataclysmic superhero brawls broadcasted on the evening news.
will they have her pinching the rears of girls she finds cute. I suspect the SJWs won’t be satisfied unless they see full blown ‘Blue is the Warmest Color’ level sex scenes.
