Even with cinemas shut down, productions halted and releases postponed, the show must go on. Hollywood Report says that Marvel Studios hired Rick and Morty screenwriter Jeff Loveness to pen the script for Ant-Man 3. Loveness honed his skills while working on Jimmy Kimmel Live, writing for the Onion and New Yorker, and scripting comic books for Marvel. He is currently working on TBS anthology comedy series Miracle Workers featuring Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), and Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy).
Ant-Man 3 hasn’t been officially announced yet. However, Peyton Reed, who helmed both of the previous films in the franchise, signed on to direct the third one as well last fall. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will probably reprise their performances as Ant-Man and the Wasp, respectively. At this stage, however, there are no certain dates regarding the film’s production. After all, Loveness was hired just as Disney revealed a major reshuffling of movies in its release calendar, postponing most of its upcoming Marvel superhero films.
