I feel kinda bad for Dwayne Johnson. I mean sure the guy is rich, famous, built like a brick shithouse…but he’s stuck in movie age that is, well, pretty much crap. Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Van Damme, Snipes, Gibson, Willis…these guys stomped around in a time where directors knew how to take full advantage of an actors physicality. Let’s face it, most of these Soy Boy directors are too busy staring at Johnson’s bum to properly contemplate a decent fight sequence. Where is Johnson’s Predator? Aliens? Terminator? Rambo? Blade? Die Hard? Will Johnson look back 30 years from now and brag about Jumanji? Somehow I doubt it.
Johnson needs directors like Clint Eastwood and Mel Gibson, not the director of Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore. Ah right..the reason why we’re here. The second trailer for Rampage is out…
Still looks very cheesy, but it will probably make a gazilion dollars.
