Uggggh….it was worse than I could have possibly imagined. I almost turned it off after the first 6 seconds. Just flip the idiotic words coming out of Alfre Woodard’s mouth “White woman have always had super powers”…then imagine the outrage. These scumbags truly don’t even hear themselves, do they? Championing the victim card gives you carte blanche to be a complete waste of air, apparently. “Chocolate boyscout”, everything is about the flesh. These characters…more accurately the “writers” of this mess can’t see past their epidermis. How sad a life it must be to exist in such a finite and shallow realm.
Once again, like The Defenders…and Jessica Jones, the primary villain of the series is a strong “woman”. Netlfix and Marvel seem to be under the impression that all you need to do is insert a minority and it will be enough to produce a compelling storyline.
The lesson that we have been trying so desperately to convey to them for several years now…is that it is not.
