Zoe Lister-Jones To Take On The Craft Remake
Columbia Pictures and Blumhouse Entertainment, who are behind The Craft remake, have dubbed actress and director Zoe Lister-Jones as helmer. Lister’s directing credits are next-to-none so the studio must be making a leap of faith. Lister’s acting resume consists of a lot of TV work in shows like New Girl and Life in Pieces.
The original film, made in 1996 starred Fairuza Balk, Robin Tunney and Neve Campbell, told the story of a teenage girl who falls in with a trio of troubled teenage girls who turn out to be witches with an axe to grind went to become a cult hit.

What are the odds of this being even remotely as clever, nuanced and entertaining as the original? You guessed it, next to none. Get ready for an SJW-laden, intersectionality-ridden, misandry-filled crap-fest.
Mary Magdalene Trailer
Directed by Garth Davis and starring Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix and Chiwetel Ejiofor Mary Magdalene tells the story of…Mary Magdalene…or does it?
Ummm…I feel like they’re doing some strange things in this. Distorting the story in favor of modern-day politics.
Is Ejiofor supposed be playing the role of Peter? Saint Peter, of the twelve apostles Peter?? He who almost walked on water Peter???
I think I will give this turd a wide, wide berth.
Jussie Smollett Games The System
Liar, scumbag and overall fraud Jussie (Juicy Smollet) escaped the arms of Justice today as the prosecution against him decided…for reasons we may never know…to drop all of the charges against him. The case against Jussie, who was accused of hoaxing a hate crime, was so strong that a Grand Jury saw fit to slap him with 16 criminal counts that left him facing almost 50 years in the big house.
“After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollet’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case.”
— State Attorney’s office
The Chicago police and Mayor Rahm Emanuel are not happy to say the least:
“He did this all in the name of self-promotion, This is a whitewash of justice. A grand jury could not have been clearer. Where is the accountability in the system”
— Rahm Emanuel
Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson had this to say: “Do I think justice was served? No. And I think this city is still owed an apology.”
Chicago police detectives did an excellent investigation and their work was reaffirmed by an independent grand jury who brought 16 criminal counts. In our experience, innocent individuals don’t forget bond & perform community service in exchange for dropped charges. https://t.co/P9rsvUMwwZ
