I love Heather Langenkamp, as in love Heather Langenkamp. As in, I wish she married me and had my children instead of fricken David LeRoy Anderson type love. Alas, it wasn’t meant to be so I must pine from afar…in a completely non-stalker-like way. I think one of the things I like about her so much is that she has always been so gracious about the cards she was dealt after starrring in the Nightmare on Elm Street Films. To say that she has been irrevocably linked to those films and the character of Nancy is an understatement. Some actresses might feel a bit of resentment about this fate, even despise those who have a hard time of seeing her as anyone else but Nancy. But not Heather, she takes it all in stride and gives back the love that NOES fans send her way.
She did an amazing job in the spectacular Nightmare on Elm Street Documentary: Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy (2010) and I Am Nancy (2011) which focused on her experience playing the iconic character. She does the conventions, she meets the fans, she’s the sexiest woman alive..I’m not biased at all. Heather continues to work and one of her latest projects has her narrating a horror short called Road Trash from producer Natasha Pascetta and musician James Malone.
Synopsis:
“Road Trash is a short horror film about good intentions gone wrong. Alice can’t help but bury every dead animal she comes across. One day, she buries something she never should have touched and pays for her kind act dearly.”
