Dual Shockers brings news of a pretty cool gameplay trailer for Black Desert Online, developed by South Korean video game developer Pearl Abyss.
Black Desert Online is a sandbox-oriented massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). The movie Warcraft (2016) was based off another popular MMORPG World of Warcraft so who knows we might be seeing an adaptation from this one day as well. The general gist is that there is a conflict going between two rival nations: The Kingdom of Valencia (good guys) and The Republic of Calpheon (bad guys).
I don’t get to play games much these days but I’ve always had an immense respect for the medium. (Making video games isn’t like dusting crops!) Initially, there isn’t much to look at, the animation is a little jerky in some places, but once the action starts it is very impressive. The effects are bombastic and exciting to look at and the martial arts animation is top notch. If only I didn’t have to work around the clock, ah well, I can appreciate the visuals at least.
Currently Black Desert Online is only available on PC.
