Directed by Sam Hargrave from a screenplay by Joe Russo (Avengers: Endgame) Extraction stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor) as black-market mercenary tasked with rescuing a kidnapped son of an international crime lord behind bars.

Toruk's Take

Can Hemsworth stand on his own outside of the Marvel landscape? Others have tried and failed. The music is awful and for some reason, everyone keeps telling him to kill this kid, which seems like a strange take but okay.
It certainly seems action-packed but I’m not exactly sold on the story. Of course, it’s on Netflix, so the odds that I’ll find myself streaming it on a boring Saturday evening is, unfortunately, pretty good.

Extraction starring Chris Hemsworth, Faye Masterson, Marc Donato, Derek Luke, and David Harbour hits Netflix April 24th.
