The movie centers around Georgie who feels trapped in a relationship with a man she no longer loves, and Lu the town outcast with whom she starts having a passionate affair. When Lu retreats to the wilderness unexpectedly, Georgie sets out to save him from the grief of his past and ultimately saves herself as well.
