My thoughts on the James Gunn firing and James Gunn for that matter have been clear. You fire Roseanne, you fire this sludgepuppet too. I think his Tweet’s (and politics) are disgusting but I also won’t pretend I didn’t love Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2. I thought they were funny, well directed and most importantly absent of any leftist ideological garbage. So much so I was rather surprised to hear the Gunn was one of these individuals on Twitter who virtue-signaled like an attention seeking maniac. I don’t care if a celebrity doesn’t like our President, that’s their business…I just don’t want to hear about it from them. And I damn sure don’t want to hear about it through their work. Gunn joined in the culture war swinging his sword of virtue and was roundly leveled. He deserved it, maybe now he’ll focus more on his work than what conservatives are up to.
I suspect that Suicide Squad 2 will be a sight better than the first Suicide Squad, of course, that wont be much of an achievement.
