Legendary actor and filmmaker Clint Eastwood is making a new film in Georgia. The film entitled: “The Ballad Of Richard Jewell” is a drama about a security guard who underwent a ‘trial by media’ when it was leaked that he was a possible suspect in the Olympic Park bombing at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
The film starring Olivia WIlde, Jon Hamm, Kathy Bates and Sam Rockwell begins filming this summer.
Georgia recently passed the heartbeat bill which prevents most abortions if the child has a detectable heartbeat. While this may seem reasonable to some of us, many celebrities who align themselves on the left of the political spectrum are not happy about this and have called for a boycott of any film or television production in the state.
I hear The Mule is a good flick, I need to put that in my watch queue. Also looking forward to seeing The Ballad Of Richard Jewell’ this story is a fascinating one and an early example of what kind of damage the main stream media can do when propagating a faulty narrative.
