Developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is the fifth entry in the Black Ops subseries and the 15th in the main Call of Duty series. This is the first Call of Duty without a traditional single-player campaign mode (to some fans disappointment), instead, providing a ‘Solo missions’ mode which focuses on the backstories of the games multiplayer characters called ‘Specialist’. The game boasts the largest Zombies offering yet with three separate undead adventures in addition to a mode called “Blackout’, which serves as a battle royale-like experience and claiming to host the biggest map in Call of Duty history.
Black Ops 4 will be the first game in the series to use Blizzard’s Battle.net platform as opposed to Steam on Windows.
