Yeah yeah, the new trailer for Avengers Infinity War is out. Yet I can’t muster any enthusiasm. I am rapidly losing interest in all things Marvel. I abandoned their comics when some moron thought it would be ‘cool’ to have Magneto extract Wolverine’s adamantium after decades of conflict. Putz. And their recent offerings (and migration into identity politics) is forcing me away from their much-vaunted movie and television universe. Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Punisher, The Defenders and Jessica Jones season 2 were pretty much trash. They turned Thor into a bad joke. And I didn’t even bother watching the digusting subversive Trojan Horse that was Black Panther. Unless they somehow right the ship this will probably be the last Marvel phase that I cover as I find I’m more likely to vomit from than cheer at what they put to screen.
Meh. I think it’s time for me to explore a different comic book universe…
