Despite heavy pushback from celebrities and fans, Disney has decided to stand firm with their decision not to re-hire James Gunn for the 3rd Guardians of the Galaxy film. James Gunn was fired several weeks ago after old Tweets of his pertaining to pedophilia were brought to light…again (these Tweets were first discussed several years ago).
Cast members Zoe Saldana and Chris Pratt went so far as to write an open letter imploring the reinstatement of Gunn. Dave Bautista (who plays Drax the Destroyer) has made his disgust regarding Gunn’s firing well known on Twitter as he slammed both Disney and those on “the right” he believes is to blame. In light of all this studio chairman Alan Horn decided to have a meeting with Gunn to ‘clear the air’. The meeting was said to be civil and professional but ultimately Horn and Disney stood by their original decision.
Disney and Marvel spokespeople have declined to comment.

James Gunn is the latest casualty in the massive culture war encompassing the globe between psychopathic SJW’s and normal people. James Gunn has long used his Twitter platform to defame conservatives and conservative commentators recently referring to them as “traitors and racists”. Instead of focusing on his work he opted to join the war and virtue-signal to the high heavens. But as we well know…those who virtue-signal the loudest are usually the ones with the least virtue. And who we should be the most wary of.

Gunn was promptly outed as someone who was freakishly obsessed with the subject of pedophilia so much so that he even attended pedophilia-themed parties.

Yeah…the last thing this imbecile should have done was get involved in a smear campaign. He did. And he paid the price. Roseanne Barr’s “crime” was not even remotely comparable. Saying that Valerie Jarrett looked like an ape from Planet of the Apes (a statement that I, as an artist, find objectively true 🙂 ) may not be a “nice” thing to say. But running around talking about diddling kiddies is arguably worse. A large group of consumers (myself included) believe that Disney implicitly sides with the despicable SJW ideology. It is the core reason behind the new Star Wars films backlash (and soon to be the backlash against the upcoming SJW MCU). This has already cost them money and fans. If Disney re-hired James Gunn and did not do the same for Roseanne Barr they will have explicitly declared that they were in the camp with the SJW’s.
Something I believe would inevitably lead to their doom.
So it doesn’t surprise me in the least that James Gunn is not being rehired. It doesn’t surprise me at all.
