The second season of the Netflix series Altered Carbon is upon us. This season Anthony Mackie is playing host to Takeshi Kovacs.
Toruk's TakeSeason one of Altered Carbon gave us full frontal nudity like few sci-fi shows have ever given us. The action and story weren’t too bad and the political commentary wasn’t so toxic that you couldn’t bear to move forward.
This looks like a dud.
Just my first impression but the dialog and action seem stale. To be honest, Mackie has never sold me as being an action anything and his Black Mirror entry pretty much soured me on the actor…forever.
Season 2 of Altered Carbon streams on Netflix February 27.
