    Amazon Continues Casting For Its Wheel of Time TV Series

    GeekTyrant reports that Amazon cast four more actors in supporting roles for its upcoming adaptation of Robert Jordan’s best-selling fantasy series The Wheel of Time. According to the article, Hammed Animashaun (Black Mirror) will play Loial, Alvaro Morte (Money Heist) will be Logain, Johann Myers (The Lost City of Z) will portray Padan Fain and Alexandre Willaume (Tomb Raider) will embody Thom Merrilin.

    In October 2018 Amazon first announced its plans to adapt this behemoth of a fantasy series that consists of fourteen volumes and a prequel. In June 2019 Amazon cast Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) as Moiraine Damodred, a formidable sorceress and one of the lead characters in the novel. In August, the streaming service cast relative newcomers as the show’s leads: Barney Harris (Clique) as Mat Cauthon, Madeleine Madden (Dora and the Lost City of Gold) as Egwene, Zoë Robins (The Shannara Chronicles) as Nynaeve, Marcus Rutherford (Obey) as Perrin and Josha Stradowski (High Flyers) as Rand.

    Rafe Judkins serves as the show’s creator and executive producer. A former contestant on the reality TV series Survivor, Judkins previously worked as a writer on shows like Chuck, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Hemlock Grove and My Own Worst Enemy.
