Zoë Kravitz will play Catwoman in the next Batman movie, says TheWrap. 30-year old actress, singer, and model will portray the notorious cat burglar opposite Robert Pattison’s (Twilight Saga, The Lost City of Z) Caped Crusader. As we already reported, The Batman will be directed by Matt Reeves, best known for the disaster movie Cloverfield and post-apocalyptic films Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes. Jonah Hill (The Wolf of Wall Street) and Jeffrey Wright (Westworld) are reportedly also in talks to appear in the film.
Zoë Kravitz is the daughter of the musician Lenny Kravitz. She made her acting debut in 2007 in the romantic comedy No Reservations. Since then, Kravitz appeared both in blockbuster movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Mad Max: Fury Road, X-Men: First Class and The Divergent Series as well as in more low-budget productions such as Dope, Gemini, Kin and Vincent N Roxxy. Since 2017, she has been a regular cast member in HBO’s award-winning drama series Big Little Lies. Zoë Kravitz already played Catwoman in 2017, lending her voice to the character in The Lego Batman Movie.
