‘Final Fantasy’ series in the works by Sony TV
Sony TV, Hivemind (The Expanse, The Witcher) and Square Enix have teamed up to develop a live-action series based on the popular Final Fantasy video game series. Ben Lustig and Jake Thornton will write with the story taking place on the world of Eorzea. It will be based specifically on Final Fantasy XIV.
Another streaming service, another streaming series. Will Sony TV’s adaptation fair better than their movies? Than Netflix’s abysmal video game adaptations?
I suppose we will find out.

Marvel Comics makes Thor’s Hammer Inscription ‘Gender Neutral’
Checking in on Comic Book news…it looks like Marvel is messing with Thor’s hammer again. In ‘War of the Realms #6’ they have once again changed the inscription. This time it reads:
“Whosoever holds this hammer, if they be worthy, shall possess the power of …Thor.”
This new Mjolnir, forged by Thor with the ‘God Tempest’ was created because the old one was destroyed by Jane Foster. The original inscription from back in 1962 read;
“Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of …Thor.”
At this rate we’re getting kind of numb to this silliness…which is a dangerous state to be in. Much like in the Nightmare on Elm Street film…if you allow yourself to fall asleep, that’s when you are the most vulnerable. So unfortunately we must remain vigilante, no matter how inane the affront.
Between Captain Marvel and the insulting interjection of Zendaya as “MJ”, the deterioration of Marvel is proceeding at pace. It’s only going to get worse as time goes on. Once the SJW infestation takes root the result is almost always fatal.
I used to love Marvel but I can’t wait for it to go the way of the dodo bird. This Marvel Universe needs to be supplanted with one that isn’t a joke. Hmn, that would actually make for a pretty good story. There is some massive celestial event that forces two universes to converge. Conflict ensues and the Marvel universe, weakened by the SJW scourge is subsequently eradicate to be replaced by the stronger, healthier universe. But one that must be perpetually vigilante to ensure it never falls victim to the same disease as their opponent whom they have put out of their misery.
Now that sounds like something I’d watch.

Charlies Angel Trailer
The trailer for the reboot that no one asked for is here. Directed by Elizabeth Banks the new Charlie’s Angels stars Naomi Scott, Kristen Stewart and Ella Balinska.
I never hated McG’s Charlie’s Angels. I didn’t think they were great. I thought they were silly, bombastic and the physics highly improbable. But one word that never came to mind when watching them was boring. This series looks like pure trash. The dialog is coma inducing and the action…the action looks even worse.
I’d like to formally apologize to McG for every bad thing I said about his CA films.
You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.
