Abby Arcane, a CDC instigator goes back to her hometown of Louisiana to investigate an epidemic. A deadly swamp born virus is threatening the whole town after a scientist named Alec Holland dies. She learns that Holland may not only be responsible for the deadly virus but as a result may have become something other than human.
