Maleficent 2
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil takes place after the first film Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie. Aurora and Maleficent face new threats together against the magical land of the Moors.
I say we raid Angelina Jolie’s house, strap her down and force-feed her McDonald’s for a month. I miss the Angie with some meat on her bones…you know, like almost 30 years ago in the movie Hackers.
I…might watch this on Amazon one night if I don’t have anything to do…which is rare.
Beats
Starring Anthony Anderson (Blackish) Beats features Anderson as a disoriented manager who tries to get a young man, who just lost his sister, musical career back on track.
Looks like someone has watched Hustle & Flow…and then assumed that no one else watched it. I suppose a young man cramming to pass the Bar Exam wouldn’t be exciting enough for the target audience.
Guns, drugs and violence it is then.
Batman Hush
Based off of the DC Comics Batman story arc running from issues #608-619, Batman: Hush introduces a mysterious stalker called Hush who is intent on sabotaging Batman from afar.
The character designs look okay but the animation looks a little…stiff. It’s like they’re being very stingy with the movement, as if they are on a tight budget and have to ration out the in-between frames.
Unlike, say, the majestic movement of this classic:
At any rate, it looks like it will be worth a stream at least.
