Lately, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding Monster Hunter’s new expansion; Iceborne. Even spectators who have never played any prior games in the series are getting curious. Luckily for them, Monster Hunter World will be free to play on the PlayStation 4 until May 20th. You’d be able to tackle two of the five starter locations – Wildspire Waste and Ancient Forest- during the free trial to get a taste of the game. If you’re feeling the game any progress made during the trial will be carried over to the full game so it’s a win-win. MHW has been well received by critics getting a solid 9.5 on IGN. So now is a great time to get into the series with new content right around the corner.
Iceborne will have a brand new map, a new story, new monsters, and will feature the legendary Nargacuga. Trust me, if you’ve never fought the Narga before you’re going to want some time to boost those hunting skills.
For PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users, the expansion will be available on September 6 with a $39.99 price tag.
