I-Marcus News Briefs: Crawl Trailer, Jussie Smollet Not Coming Back To Empire And Some Disturbing News

    Crawl Trailer

Directed by Alexandre Aja (High Tension (2003), Mirrors (2008)) and written by Michael and Shawn Rasmussen the Sam Raimi produced horror flick Crawl features a young woman fighting against a Category 5 hurricane and alligators in an effort to save her father.

If you can accept the premise of relentless, multiple, improbably-intelligent CGI alligators swarming on a house as opposed to snatching up easier prey in the open than this could be a fun romp.

I’ve enjoyed a couple of Aja’s films so I’ll give this one a 50/50 chance of being a keeper.

Crawl chomps its way into theaters July 12th.

Jussie Smollet Not Coming Back To Empire

I don’t watch nor have I ever seen Empire but good news is good news. While Empire has been renewed by Fox for a sixth season it doesn’t look like Jussie ‘Juicy’ Smollett will be coming back.

Fox issued a statement Tuesday stating:

“By mutual agreement, the studio has negotiated an extension to Jussie Smollett’s option for season six, but at this time there are no plans for the character of Jamal to return to ‘Empire’”

Juicy was seen vacationing in Hawaii earlier this month. For what this guy did he shouldn’t have the luxury of serving in the entertainment industry. Instead he should be confined to perform hard labor for 30-40 years.

    Disturbing News

Facebook permanently banned Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos, Laura Loomer, Paul Joseph Watson among others as part of its new policy of banning ‘White Nationalism’ and Separatism. I don’t know enough about Laura Loomer to comment on her but I know for a fact that none of the others I’ve mentioned are White Nationalist or Separatist.

Facebook is trash. The sooner it’s dead the better.
