Neflix Flubs The Cowboy Bebop Casting
Netflix has revealed the leads for its upcoming Cowboy Bebop live-action series. The series will be written and executive produced by Chris Yost (Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok)
Before we continue…a rant.
The despicable left is so desperate to wave their virtue-signaling flag they invariably reveal just how racist they truly are. If race-bending established characters weren’t bad enough the ham-fisted and staggeringly tone-deaf manner in which they go about their butchery is breathtakingly idiotic. Spike Spiegel, Faye Valentine and Jet Black…which one of these was cast as an African-American? If you picked the character with words ‘black’ in their name you just graduated from the school of zero imagination. Congrats. A valid candidate to work in Hollywood.
On with the casting:
John Cho will play Spike Spiegel.
Daniella Pineda will play Faye Valentine
Mustafa Shakir will play Jet Black
I don’t know what kind of drugs someone had to be engorged with to think that John Cho (that little dweeb doing lame martial arts in Jar Jar Abrams abysmal Star Trek films) to think that he would make a good Spike Spiegel, but they must be indeed powerful. Spiegel, a twenty-something, lanky (6’1″ (185 cm)), handsome, charismatic Han Solo-like scoundrel vs a 5′ 10″, 46 year old goblin…what are we doing here?
I don’t know much about Pineda and frankly at this point who cares Netflix is making a bad name for itself by taking beloved properties and skewering them. Soon Uwe Boll’s name will carry more good will than theirs.
Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop…dead on arrival.

Jussie Smollett Gets Sued
After failing to meet the deadline set by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to repay the city $130,000 in costs wasted investigating his allegedly hoaxed hate crime Jussie “Juicy” Smollett is being sued.
From a spokesperson for the city of Chicago:
“Mr. Smollett has refused to reimburse the City of Chicago for the cost of police overtime spent investigating his false police report on January 29, 2019. The Law Department is now drafting a civil complaint that will be filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Once it is filed, the Law Department will send a courtesy copy of the complaint to Mr. Smollett’s L.A. based legal team.”
Frankly, I wished they sued this lying slug for $50 trillion dollars.

Domino Trailer
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau plays a Copenhagen police officer who is out for vengeance against the mysterious man who killed his partner.
Oh dear oh dear. Well I think it’s safe to say that there is no way in Tartarus they’re actually going to make the black guy in this an actual bad guy. Plot twist…things aren’t as they seem and he’s under the control or influence of wicked evil white folks.
If he does turn out to actually be a bad guy then watch out…because they are going to be picketing in the streets.
All that being said…this looks like an ABC movie from the 90’s. Not particularly theatrical at all. Quite disappointing given that this is helmed by none other than Brian De Palma (Scarface).
