Strange day. It’s not often that I support remakes or Eli Roth but I find myself doing both. Bruce Willis stars in a remake (Directed by Eli Roth) of the 1974 revenge thriller Death Wish that starred action icon Charles Bronson. In the original film, New York Architect Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) goes on a criminal killing spree after his wife was murdered by some street punks.
I think that in this day and age a movie that shows Joe Public actually standing against the criminal scum in society as opposed to making excuses for them or trying to paint them as victims…is sorely needed. As far as I’m concerned the more the merrier.
Saddle up, lock and load.
Death Wish, starring Bruce Willis and Elisabeth Shue shoots its way into theaters November 22, 2017.
