This morning, Netflix, via Twitter, released a look at Henry Cavill dressed up as Geralt of Rivia for its upcoming Witcher series. In the 23 second clip, Cavill strolls up to the camera, gives a somber expression, takes a swig of some liquid and begins to head back.
The Witcher series is currently filming for Netflix and is set to debut sometime in 2019.

Toruk's Take
Happy Halloween!
Not sure what’s up with the baby face. In most of the images I’ve seen of the character he’s had a scruffy beard which looked great. Given Cavill’s smooth, model-like face I think that a beard would serve him far better in this role. I think they need to add some scars as well. Bottom line, Cavill’s too damn ‘pretty’ and doesn’t give the impression of a hardened warrior. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has said this so hopefully, they have taken account of this after their make-up test.
Let us all pray that this doesn’t turn out to be another crap show like say…”The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” which I had to bail on after about 15 minutes. Sometime around the part where they were talking about taking down the ‘White Patriarchy’. Yeah, if it’s anything like that trash it will not be a pretty scene.
