The AMC Horror drama NOS4A2, based off of the novel by Joe Hill, has found its leads with Ashleigh Cummings (Hounds of Love, The Goldfinch) and Zachary Quinto (Heroes, Star Trek). Jami O’Brien (The Walking Dead) is the showrunner of the project. Michael Eisner’s Tornante Television and AMC Studios are producing. The drama is set to debut in 2019.
The novel by Hill, son of Stephen King, was published in April of 2013 and was nominated for the 2013 Bram Stoker Award for Best Novel. Here’s the publisher’s summary from Audible:
“Victoria McQueen has an uncanny knack for finding things: a misplaced bracelet, a missing photograph, answers to unanswerable questions. When she rides her bicycle over the rickety old covered bridge in the woods near her house, she always emerges in the places she needs to be. I remember listening to this book back in 2015. Found the story to be so-so. Perhaps it’ll play better visually, sometimes that happens. As it stands, I’m fairly apathetic to this project. Now Doctor Sleep, that one I’m keenly interested in.
