The actor who plays Jon Snow on the series Game of Thrones, Kit Harington, revealed that he was woefully uninformed when it came to the far left’s obsession with diversity, inclusion and representation. During an interview with Variety, Harington, 31, a millennial eager at the opportunity to virtue-signal, climbed onto his woke-box and vomited this bit of ill-informed gibberish:
“There’s a big problem with masculinity and homosexuality that they can’t somehow go hand in hand. That we can’t have someone in a Marvel movie who’s gay in real life and plays some super hero. I mean, when is that going to happen?”
It is unclear whether or not the ideological disease that is Identity Politics corrupts long term memory but there seems to be ever-growing evidence that it just might. How else can one explain the bizarre claims that movies like Black Panther were the first to star a black superhero or that Wonder Woman was the first female super-hero movie? Just a second of research reveals a 2014 article from the TheWrap entitled:
13 Hollywood LGBT Stars who play superheroes or villains.
Let’s look at the list:
- John Barrowman as Malcolm Merlyn on The CW’s “Arrow.”
- Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler in “X-Men 2” (2003).
- Victor Garber as Martin Stein, one half of Firestorm on The CW’s “The Flash.”
- Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible in “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog” (2008).
- Angelina Jolie as The Fox in “Wanted” (2008).
- Sean Maher as Shrapnel on The CW’s “Arrow.”
- Sir Ian McKellen as Magneto in multiple “X-Men” films.
- Andy Mientus as the Pied Piper on The CW’s “The Flash.”
- Ezra Miller as The Flash in Warner Bros.’ “Justice League: Part One” (2017) and “The Flash” (2018).
- Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold on The CW’s “The Flash.”
- Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde in multiple “X-Men” films.
- Anna Paquin as Rogue in multiple “X-Men” films.
- Zachary Quinto as Sylar on NBC’s “Heroes.”
That’s quite a bit of gay or bi actors. Maybe Harington thinks all superheroes should be played by LGBT actors? No, let’s not give him any undeserved credit or any opportunity of seeming less of an imbecile than he has already established.
I won’t get into how using what an actor does beneath their sheets as a metric for the roles they should play is a base, disgusting, and socially regressive practice. We can do that another time, for now, let us just take delight in seeing a virtue-signaling SJW buffoon display his buffoonery.
Ygritte was dead right, you know nothing Jon Snow.
