Everybody wants to be in the movie biz. British songstress’ Rita Ora, who has appeared in the ’50 shades’ franchise has indicated recently that she would love to do a horror movie.
“I actually had my first acting role at the age of eleven in the movie ‘Spivs’. I love acting. Acting is pretty much like a performance too!”
Yes Rita…that’s why “theatre” is included among the many “Performing Arts”.
The blonde (not really) singer states that music is still her top priority but that she definitely wants to more films.
I’m having trouble thinking of examples of recent female pop-stars who have successfully made the transition to actresses. Everything I’ve seen Rihanna in has been horrible. Beyoncé (whose career success boggles my mind to this day…really folks?) I haven’t seen since her lackluster performance in 2009’s Obsessed. If I missed any others let me know.
So good luck, Rita. I ‘m a massive horror fan…but I have no issue with stumbling across the unintentional comedy…from time to time.
