Soo…I had the hots for Starbuck. I know, I know, me. That guy. The purist guy. The anti-remake, anti-reboot, anti-race bending, anti-gender bending guy. And I’m still that guy, I will always be that guy. But the flesh is weak and sometimes it fails us…and Katee Sackhoff looked sooo good and the series (Battlestar Galactica ) was sooo fracken phenomenal. To make matters worst, Sackhoff has a few manish features…it’s the sort of thing that makes you question your sexuality. Like…why her, dude?
Anywho…it is what it is. Since then, I’ve kept an eye on her career, it’s been alright. She’s a mid-level player and seems to be fine with it. She’s done a lot of TV and several movies and they all fall more-or-less in the B range of quality. It’s a career no-one should be ashamed of.
Deadline reports that Katee-dear is heading back into the sci-fi drama series area where we first met. This time in a 10 episode Netflix joint called Another Life. Halfire Entertainment (Alias Grace) is producing.
Aaron Martin ( Saving Hope, Slasher ) is the creator and the showrunner.
Synopsis:
“Another Life centers on astronaut Niko Breckinridge (Sackhoff) who is focused on searching for alien intelligence. She leads a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact. As Niko and her young crew investigate, they face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission”
Well, that’s nice. Frankly, there are so many new things on Netflix I can’t keep up. The only way I could watch it all is if I were some 400 lb slob on welfare who didn’t do anything all day but drink Kool-Aid and count their bed sores. Some of us have to work for a livin. But I wish it the best…but only because it stars Katee. 😎
