Penelope Mitchell Curve, 2015 and Sally Kirkland (umm A lot..over 200 films) star in a new horror film Apartment 212 directed by Haylar Garcia An American Terror, 2014 and written by Garcia, Jim Brennan, and Kathryn Gould. The film won the “Best Horror Feature” award at Shriekfest last year so it may be worth a look-see.
Collider film synopsis:
“Jennifer Conrad is a small-town girl headed to the big city after escaping an abusive relationship, but when she moves into an apartment complex full of colorful characters, Jennifer discovers a new set of challenges that come with her new life, including the mysterious welts spreading over her body every time she wakes up.”
Let’s take a gander:
Hmn, at first I thought this was going to be an all-out gross-fest with her body deteriorating throughout the movie in all manner of icky ways. Not really my cup of tea, but the reveal of her being attacked by nasty little creatures peaked my interest. That’s a foe you can thrash! I like it. Consider me sold.
