Limerick will be the production home for the television adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s 1980 novel Nightflyers. Troy Studios, which employs over 500 people, will produce the pilot and season 1 which are expected to be completed in the course of 16 weeks. This will mark the first international production taken on by the studio. George R. R. Martin won’t have much to do with the series as it is said he is busy trying to finish his latest novel “The Winds of Winter”, though there are rumors that the book is indeed already completed.
