First teaser for Amazon’s series adaptation of Robert Jordan’s Epic fantasy The Wheel Of Time. A story about a group of teenagers sought and taken from their small village by a magic user to help save the world from the coming darkness.
Toruk's TakeI don’t think this was ever going to be for me. I adore the Wheel of Time novels. I go through them every year like clockwork. I know the characters like I know my own family. If you change a hair on a character’s head you better have a damn good reason for it.

Racebending is never excusable. But to racebend a story that already had a plethora of diversity is criminal. Add to that the characterization is already spectacularly bad. As village wisdom N’ynaeve would never in a million years push Egwene off a cliff of that height. In fact, she would have tried to paddle her bottom if she found out she did something so “woolheaded”.
This kind of screw up can only get worse the further we peel the onion. I already have Amazon Prime, but frankly, I don’t think I can risk polluting my love for this series by watching this trash.
This will be my first and only time watching anything related to it.
