It’s been a year since we last wrote about The Terminal List – Amazon Prime’s conspiracy TV series starring Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Parks and Recreation). Well, the casting continued, with the latest addition – according to GeekTyrant – being Riley Keough. In ten years of her acting career, Keough has already amassed an impressive filmography, with titles ranging from blockbuster movies (Mad Max: Fury Road) to comedies (Logan Lucky, Magic Mike) to psychological horror films (It Comes at Night, The Lodge). The growing ensemble of the show presently also includes Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights, X-Men Origins: Wolverine), Jeanne Tripplehorn (Basic Instinct, Criminal Minds), and Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians, Fresh off the Boat).
The Terminal List is based on a novel by Jack Carr. It follows James Reece, a veteran Navy SEAL (played by Pratt) whose entire platoon gets ambushed during a dangerous mission. He returns home facing conflicting memories of the event. As he begins to unearth puzzling evidence about the disastrous mission, Reece discovers there’s a conspiracy against him, threatening his loved ones as well. The Terminal List is produced by Pratt himself, as well as by Antoine Fuqua. Fuqua directed the crime thriller Training Day and already collaborated with Pratt on the 2016 Magnificent Seven remake. It is as yet unknown when will the series premiere on Amazon Prime. It is all but certain, however, that the pandemic considerably slowed down its production.
