Disney CEO Bob Chapek fielded questions from shareholders today during the annual shareholders meeting. Apparently he spent a bulk of the time lying through his teeth.
“One thing we can all agree on is the power of Disney to unite us all.”

Disney Employee:
Ah yes…unity indeed.
That may have been true in the past when Disney was under different leadership but that isn’t even remotely true now. You fire and slander a woman for presenting a very real warning about the political climate yet praise and defend a full-blown racist?
When asked about the firing of Gina Carano Chapek dodged the question:
“I don’t really see Disney as characterizing itself as right-leaning or left-leaning”
He would go on to spout about concepts he knows nothing of such as “universal values”, “decency”, and “integrity”. The people that run Disney do not hold these values, they in fact represent the anti-thesis of them. As someone aptly said: “It is a bad company run by bad people.”
One cannot embrace an ideology that rips away the very element that makes human beings human and call themselves decent or possess integrity. Back in the day we had a name for creatures who would do something like that. Creatures who would do horrific things under the guise of goodness. Creatures who would, lie, cheat and steal to achieve their nefarious ends.
We called them villains.
